More accurate searching

  • Every product that we offer has been associated with more relevant keywords then ever. This means that when you type in a part number, or a description, our back-end will have an even better idea of what products to retrieve for you.

Enhanced Chat

  • Notice our chat box in the lower right hand side of your screen. Our new chat is powered by Zopim and allows us to interact with you quickly and efficiently. Once your chat box is up, you can minimize it as you continue to browse, and even drag it anywhere on the screen.

Refreshing Look

  • Maybe this one is a matter of opinion, but we never liked the clutter of most office supply websites. One goal in developing this site was to acknowledge that customers are going to browse the site as they browse the internet, by using a search tool. Having twenty random products dangling on the sidebars of the site with the hopes to up-sell a customer is just bad practice. On our homepage, we will include four or so "forget-me-not" items that will change periodically, in case you forgot one of the little necessities, but that is all.

  • Let's be up front: You use a search bar every day. So, right up front, we have a large search bar in the middle of the screen, flanked on the left with a live-chat button, and on the right with the log-in.

  • With our new site, creating an account and checking out is a snap. Just interested in a one-time purchase? We now offer guest-checkout that only asks for minimal information. Customers who create a Dataline account will enjoy the added benefit of being able to view previous orders, storing billing and shipping information, and logging in with an email address.

  • Dataline does not keep any sensitive billing information on our servers. That means if we get hacked, you do not. We have aligned with Authorize.net to process all credit cards securely and remotely. Our business is selling office supplies, theirs is fortress-like security.
